We offer a range of services to help families.

Family Outreach

Family Outreach is helping families who are experiencing difficulties and in need of emotional or practical support. The purpose of the job is to help children and young people achieve their outcomes by working restoratively with the whole family to achieve this.

Family Outreach Workers give emotional and practical help and advice to families that are having long or short-term difficulties. The kind of difficulties faced by children and families include, but are not limited to:

  • drug or alcohol addiction
  • a parent in hospital or prison
  • marital or financial difficulties
  • a child or parent with a disability
  • problems accessing services due to language barriers
  • practical parenting issues

Family Outreach Workers work with a range of multi-agency professionals dependent on the needs of the child and family.
